Spring Fling Event for Tuscarora Academy

A “Spring Fling” will be held at the historic American House in East Waterford by the Juniata County Historical Society’s Tuscarora Academy Fund-raising Committee.

• Ticket holders will be given personalized tours by American House owner Jeanne Reese at this Open House event beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
• Light refreshments of finger sandwiches [ham and chicken salad], fruit and veggie trays, chips and beverages will be available during the visit.
• Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the Juniata County Historical Society’s Archives room Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You can also call 717-319-4527 for tickets or visit the Juniata County Library.

This is just the first of three events being planned by the committee, which aids in the upkeep of the Juniata County Historical Society’s museum, the Tuscarora Academy. The Tuscarora Academy opens Sunday afternoon, June 3 and will be open each Sunday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. throughout June, July and August.
